An article by Andy F Noya

Kain penutupnya khas, warna hitam.

Saya bersama seorang teman berboncengan sepeda hendak bermain bola. Sepeda milik teman yang saya kemudikan menyerempet sebuah mobil. Kaca spion mobil itu patah.

Begitu takutnya, bak kesetanan saya berlari pulang. Jarak 10 kilometer saya tempuh tanpa berhenti. Hampir pingsan rasanya.

Bahkan anak-anak orang kaya menjadi sasaran saya. Jika musim layangan, saya main ke kompleks perumahan orang-orang kaya. Saya menawarkan jasa menjadi tukang gulung benang gelasan ketika mereka adu layangan.

In a moment's notice everything can change for the better!

So often we miss out on God’s best because we give up too soon.

We don’t realize how close we are to our victory. Just another few days of believing, another few weeks of doing the right thing, or another few months of staying in faith is all you may need to see His promises come to pass.

Today, I want to speak by faith over you. Your breakthrough is right around the corner!

You might say, “Joel, I don’t know how I’m going to make it. Things seem to be getting worse instead of better.” You might be tempted to think, I’m never going to find my spouse, or I’m never going to get that promotion, or I’m never going to break this addiction.

But you can, because the truth is your Heavenly Father is closer than you think.

I have found that the intensity gets turned up when victory is near. The enemy would not be fighting so hard if he didn’t already know he was about to lose his grip on you.

When those negative thoughts come that would discourage you, just remind yourself that you are a child of the Most High God. Let your Words be, “I am an over comer. I am the head and not the tail. I am a victor and not a victim.”

Scripture is full of people who were closer than they thought...

·                     David faced impossible odds against Goliath, but he was moments away from victory (1 Samuel 17).
·                     Elijah was surrounded by 400 false prophets, but the power of God was about to be revealed for everyone to see (1 Kings 18).
·                     Joseph was forgotten and left in prison, but he was just a dream away from his royal position (Genesis 39–40).

Can you imagine if David dropped his slingshot and ran? What if Elijah had backed down? What if Joseph had stopped dreaming?

They didn’t give up, and God gave them victory!

These stories reveal that it is often the darkest right before the dawn.

Perhaps today you are facing impossible odds. Maybe you feel surrounded, maybe you feel forgotten. The good news for you is that our God can act suddenly in your situation. In a moment’s notice, everything can change for the better!

I believe and declare that God is going to open doors on your behalf. Your faith will be rewarded. Your dawn is almost here. He will put you in the right position to win. He is going to give you inside information. He will do the impossible in your life. Get ready!

Victoria and I love you and pray for you every day. We are believing God’s best for you, and we are so excited that you are going to see God move in your situation sooner than you think! You are going to be amazed at His goodness in the days to come.

Kerja Dan Spiritualitas

Kisah Para Rasul 9:39

Kualitas kerja kita mencerminkan kualitas hidup spiritualitas kita.

~Amsal 18:9~

Condemnation Is The Root Cause

Romans 8:1, NASB
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

When you have a plant with sickly leaves, it would be foolish to just treat the leaves without knowing the root cause of the problem. Similarly, when “leaves” of sickness, poverty and destructive habits start sprouting in your life, you need to know what the root cause is.
Experts will tell you that it is stress. They may go a little deeper and say that it is fear — fear of the future, of rejection, of loss, of death and so on. But is fear really the root? Or is there something deeper than fear?

The Bible shows us that the most fundamental cause of problems in our lives is condemnation. With condemnation comes fear. Fear then induces stress which brings about the symptoms of the curse.

This is what happened to Adam. Long before he faced poverty, sickness and eventually death, he had stress. Because of his sin, God told him, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground.” (Genesis 3:19) Sweat speaks of stress. But before there was stress, there was fear because Adam told God, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

But what made Adam fearful? Adam only feared when, seeing his nakedness, he realized that he had sinned against God. He felt so ashamed and condemned that he hid himself. God then asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:11) There was no one else in the garden other than Adam and Eve, so we know that it was probably the devil who told Adam that he was naked.

My friend, condemnation is the root cause of the symptoms of the curse manifesting in your life. That is why you need to know that at the cross, God took all your sins, put them on Jesus and unleashed the full fury of His wrath against them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!

All your sins have been completely punished in the body of Christ who was condemned for you. The root cause of all your problems has been dealt with. This means that the devil cannot enforce the curse in your life apart from your receiving condemnation. So come to the place of no condemnation and no sick leaves will sprout in your life!

Dan menariknya AIRE tercatat menyabet penghargaan prestisius "Red Dot Design Award: Best of the best 2011".

(Dina)

Letters from Dad

My friend, Mark Shriver, has a new book coming out on Tuesday called, A Good Man. The book is about his father, Sargent Shriver, who was an American statesman and activist. Among his many accomplishments, he was the driving force behind the creation of the Peace Corps, the Job Corps, Head Start and other programs. The book is about Mark’s journey to discover what made his father so impactful and admired on this earth. What was the foundation for his faith, hope and love?

One thing that Mark recounts is how his father would write him letters on a regular basis. He’d slip the letter under Mark’s bedroom door sometime during the night so that when Mark woke in the morning, it would be the first thing that he would see and read.

On graduation day, his father wrote:

"Happy Graduation Day, Mark, and Congratulations! Always remember, numero uno, that you are a unique, infinitely valuable person—your mother and I love you—so do your brothers and sisters and friends—but all our love and interest put together cannot compare to the passionate interest and love God himself showers on you. You are His! He wants you! And He will make you the perfect Man you are to be. Love, Dad"

Mark writes this about the letter he rediscovered many years later:

"I don’t remember what I did or thought when I got it on that day in May 1982. Nor do I remember putting it in my scrapbook.

Rereading the note all these years later, I smiled at Him calling me “numero uno.” I know he’d said the same thing to my three brothers, my sister, and my mother—to all six of us, almost every day. But he meant it, to each of us.

He’d believed that I was a unique person. Yes, he’d thought every person was unique and “infinitely valuable,” but to an eighteen-year-old kid trying to figure out who he was, that must have been reassuring. Indeed, I find those four words reassuring today.

Dad didn’t write to me on graduation day to tell me that if I worked hard, all my dreams would come true. No, he told me that I was loved by my mom and dad, my siblings and friends, and most importantly, God—and that love was far more important than any other advice or gift he could possibly give."

Today, maybe your earthly father didn’t write you letters, but your heavenly Father has an entire book of letters written to you! And, He invites you to read them each and every morning. He says, “As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is My love for you.” He says, “Come to Me if you are weary and burdened down and I will give you rest.” He says, “Let Me fill you with everlasting joy which is strength. Let Me give you peace that passes understanding. Let Me restore your soul and renew your mind.” Best of all, no matter how many people are on this earth, you are always His “numero uno!” He sees you as unique and infinitely valuable, and He invites you to receive His love.

God loves you so much, and He wants to have a close, personal relationship with you. That’s why He sent His Son, Jesus, into this world to pay the price for our sins so that we could live in eternity with Him. (See Romans 10:9-10.) If you’ve never received this love, if you’ve never received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, I invite you to click this link for more information. Receive His love today and let it empower you with confidence to overcome in every area of your life!

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
(Romans 8:15, NIV)

Power for a Reason

Scripture tells us that our words contain the power of life and death. You have the power to speak life into your home and into the people around you, and you were given that power for a reason. The people around you need to hear your words of encouragement. Your words are more meaningful to them than anyone else’s words!

Sometimes we compliment strangers or people we barely know more than we compliment our own family members. Many times, a person will tell a co-worker what a great job they did, but when their own spouse excels, they don’t say a word. We should always make it a priority to compliment and encourage our own family members first.

As a spouse or a family member, recognize your words carry greater weight in the lives of your loved ones. People often compliment Joel after he speaks saying, “Joel, that message was really great. You’ve helped change my life.” Those are meaningful words of encouragement for him, but I have learned that they don’t have as much impact on him as my words of affirmation simply because I’m his spouse. Sometimes, I’ll look over at Joel on a Sunday evening and say, “Joel, you’re always good, but that message was especially great today.”

I know how important it is to recognize his hard work and dedication, so I will often mention a specific point I liked in his message. I can see how that encourages him and lets him know I appreciate his gifts and talents. Even though he may have heard numerous compliments from other people that day, my words take deeper root because God designed it that way.

It’s easy to take the people closest to us for granted. “I don’t need to say anything to them,” you might say. “They know I love them. She knows I think she is beautiful. He knows I think he is a great.” Maybe so, but a blessing is not a blessing until it is spoken. When you release those positive, faith-filled words of affirmation, they will have a positive effect in the lives of the people you love. I am convinced that when we put family first, when we take the time and make the effort to be good to our family members and give them our best, then all the other relationships in our lives will improve as well.

Remember, the people in your inner circle not only want your approval—they need it. Life and death is in the power of your tongue, and the seed you sow will produce a harvest for your own future. Speak words of faith and victory into your loved ones and set yourself up for a harvest of victory in your own future.

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
 (Proverbs 18:21, NIV)

You Are Next!

Psalm 50:10
For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

Suppose you have just heard of someone whose financial debts have been miraculously cleared. Or your elated friend has just told you that despite being an average student in school, he scored straight As in all his subjects. Perhaps on Sunday, you heard a couple share about how they had become proud owners of a condominium which was the grand prize in a supermarket lucky draw, or how a once-childless couple is now expecting their miracle child.
When you see or hear of others being blessed, do you ever wonder when it will be your turn? Or do you even find yourself saying, “Oh, he got blessed with the very thing that I have been praying for. There goes my blessing.”

Now, just because man’s economy operates on the principle of shortage, it does not mean that God operates in the same manner. So the next time somebody gets blessed, tell yourself, “I won’t be disheartened. I won’t be jealous. I am the next one to be blessed!”
Always remember that God does not have to bless anyone at your expense. Nor does He have to bless you at anyone’s expense. We don’t have to be jealous of each other. There is a portion that God gives to you which no man can touch because it has your name on it — “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven”. (John 3:27)

Our God is a rich God. He owns the whole universe. He has contacts and blessings you do not know of and which are reserved just for you! There is more than enough for everybody with plenty of leftovers. In fact, you will not be able to take it all because when the blessings start coming in, they will come in a net-breaking, boat-sinking style. You will have to call for your friends in the other boats to come and help you! (Luke 5:1–7) That is the kind of blessings that our God gives. So get ready for your blessings and overflowing abundance!

See Your Situation Through God’s Eyes

Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

When darkness covered the face of the earth, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) When a certain man paralyzed for 38 years lay helpless at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk,” and immediately, the man was healed, took up his bed and walked. (John 5:8–9)
You don’t say such words unless you see something others don’t. God does not see the way man sees. Man, however, must see the way God sees. We must see the vision of the Almighty.

The prophet Balaam saw the vision of the Almighty when the Spirit of God fell on him. As he looked down from a mountain at the camp of the Israelites, he found himself saying, “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! Like valleys that stretch out, like gardens by the riverside, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.” (Numbers 24:5–6)
Balaam would not have said this unless he saw Israel not in the natural, but as God saw it. At that time, the Israelites were a discontented lot, always murmuring and complaining in the wilderness. But when God looked at them, He saw them like flourishing gardens planted by the rivers — fruitful and prosperous.

Beloved, God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you — “like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”. So see yourself like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in your season. See yourself as one who will not wither, whose health will not fail. See whatever you do prospering!
See the vision of the Almighty. That vision is always a good vision. Whenever you see your situation through God’s eyes, you will find that your situation will change because when you see as He sees, you allow Him to work as the Almighty in your life!

Don’t Put Your Faith In Diets And Exercise

Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Alot of people think that the way to get health is to watch what they eat. For example, many people say that the Mediterranean diet is a very healthy one. I agree, generally. But do you know that the people whom Jesus healed were also on a Mediterranean diet? They did not eat pork and prawns, for example, because they were Jews and these things are not kosher for them.

I know that you want to walk in divine health. But God does not want your focus to be on food — what to eat, what not to eat — or even exercise — how to exercise, when to exercise. All these are natural means which the people of the world trust in. It is better to trust in the Lord and His finished work, than to put your confidence in the latest man-made diet plans and exercise regimes.

At the cross, Jesus took your sicknesses and carried your pains, and by His stripes you were healed. (Isaiah 53:4–5) The Bible even tells us how to escape sickness and premature death — by discerning the Lord’s body when we partake of the Lord’s Supper. (1 Corinthians 11:29–30) But instead of focusing on these truths, many of us prefer to focus on dieting and exercising

Now, I am not against eating well or exercising. I myself exercise and I do watch what I eat. For example, I don’t like to eat oily stuff because it makes me feel uncomfortable. And when I have to preach, I do my best not to eat foods that make me burp!

But I eat generally healthy stuff not because I trust dieting to make me healthy. I exercise not because I trust exercising to make me healthy. No, I trust the finished work of Christ to make me healthy. I eat well because I like to feel good and I exercise because I enjoy the rush, the sweat!

God wants you to be free when it comes to eating and exercising. Don’t make laws for eating and exercising, and then trust these laws to give you “divine” health. Trust in the finished work of Christ. Discern His body when you partake of the Holy Communion. And just enjoy your food and workout!

They called me "Putra Pariwisata..."

My Birthday "Rest In Peace Dad.."

Today is April 9st, 2012,and it’s my birthday…
When I got up early in the morning I realized that it’s my birthday, yeahh…a lot of wishes I found in my heart, I thanked God for His mercy, grace, favor, and for always being with me for 23 years I live my life in the Earth, not long after that while I was laying down, I opened my facebook account and YESSSS… I got a lot of prayers, wishes, hopes, messages, and mentions from my friends in facebook , at the time I couldn’t  answer and give any comment to their postings and mentions in twitter, it’s because I was using a phone to open the accounts, and my phone was really horrible n sucks...ahahaahaaa…

On that day everything’s just going and running like usual, there is no pleasant and shocking or crazy surprise I got, except hundreds of postings on facebook, tens of text, and a phone calling from my best friend, she told me  that she couldn’t go or hang out for fun in my birthday, because her grandfa just came  from a distance and really from far away, I understood about that, but there’s another girl, I didn’t know what’s wrong with this girl that I thought she is my girl friend, a girl  that could make me smile with her action on that day just change 180 degrees, she just like forgot about my birthday, even she didn’t try to call me and give me a greeting for my birthday…huhuuhuuuu….it’s a bit weird for me, but yeahh life must go on man! Love never fails, I’ve known that there is a person that really faithful, He never leaves and forsakes me alone, so whatever’s going on I kept having joy, happiness was stay my portion at the time…hohohoooooo…

In the afternoon of that day I went to the church for singing practice for an event that my church’s gonna make two days after that day. Just right after I finished my practice I got a calling from my brodaa Fery, he told me that I had to go home cause my father was suffering at home in my hometown, when I just got home in Palangkaraya my brodaa told me that our dad’s just gone, “He passed away” my brodaa said,,,yeahhh…I can’t explain how was my feeling and what was in my mind at that time, it’s like the Earth was running really quickly, and my mind went to every memory that I had with my dad, every laugh, tear, smile, and confusion in his face. And I felt there are tears dropped and flew in my cheeks, and just can say “God is good and always good…everything that comes from You is also will be back to You ”

I still remember that in the afternoon before going for singing practice my dad just called me and he said “buusuuu…come here and go home, it seems that I live no longer anymore and I’m closer to that day…” huaaaaaa…it’s hard to say how was my feeling when I heard that,, and my dad often time mentioned like that on the days before. And I still remember just around a week ago when I sleep in the same bed with him cause my mom was really tired because of the day before she didn’t sleep a whole night, so I slept with my dad and looked after him, we’re just talking and chatting and our topics just went to everywhere…ahahahaa…and just 2 hours after chatting he said “waiitttt…!! do I know you…?” “whaattt?? I’m your son dad…ahahahaaa….” Yeahhh sometimes my dad just forgot about everything…huhuuuuu…I miss that moment…now I just can say “Rest In Peace My Beloved dad…I know that u’re happy with Jesus right now”

My Prayer

i took this prayer from a book which named "God still writes a love story"

Lord.........
I pray for a woman, that will be a part of my life
A woman that really loves You More than everything
A woman that will put me in the second place of his heart
A woman that lives not for herself but for You
The most important is...
I want a heart that really loves and thirtsty of You
And have a desire to be like JESUS
And she must know for whom and for what he lives
So her life is not useless
Someone that has a wise heart
Not only smart brainA woman that not onlyloves me
but also respect me
A woman that not only adores me
But can warn me when i am wrong
A woman that loves me not because my physical appearance
But MY heart...
A woman that can be my best friend in every time and situation
Make me feel like a man When I am beside her
I do not ask for perpect woman
But i ask for an imperfect woman
A woman that needs my support for her strength
A woman that needs my prayer for her life
A woman that needs my smile to cover his sadness
A woman that needs mylove so she feels being loved
A woman that needs me tomake her life beautiful
And i also askMake me be a man that can make her proud
Give me a heart that really LOVES YOU So i can love her withYour Love Not love her with mylove
Give me Your Gentle spirit
Give me Your HandsThat i always be able to pray for her
Give me Your eyes So i can see many good things in her And not the bad one..
Give Your mouth That is filled with Your Words Of Wisdom and encouragement So i can support her everyday
Give me Your Lips And i will smile at her every morning

Tak Kan Melebihi Kekuatanku

Often times in my life when I was facing a lot of problems, I lay down and let my ears listened to this song, for me personally, this song gave me a strength message, it says that every problem we're facing nowadays will not exceed our strength, and Father in Heaven is the only one that understands us very well, He knows what is inside our heart and  how our feeling is. no matter what's going on in our lives, like this song says that we should keep worshiping Him, keep praising Him, keep hoping, keep believing and keep stretching forward, cause He the Almighty One is always being with us.

Takkan Melebihi Kekuatanku

Tempatku berharap, tempatku berseru
Tempatku berserah, hanya Kau Yesus
Dalam kesesakan, Kau bri kelegaan
Kau bri penghiburan, dan kekuatan

Reff:
Kaulah Tuhan, Tempatku berseru
Tempatku berserah, Kaulah harapan
Kaulah Bapa yang paling mengerti
Segala yang terjadi
Takkan melebihi kekuatanku

My Very First Snow

Yaaa that was my very first snow experience.
